• 📧 Suggested contacts for payment receipts: When you send a payment receipt, contacts linked to the Customer or Site now appear as suggestions, so no more typing email addresses!
• 🏗️ Asset Installation Dates & Automatic Expiry
• Asset lifecycle tracking just got a major upgrade! 🎉
• 📅 New Installation Date field: Now a standard asset field. You can add it to Asset Reports (it’s hidden by default).
• ⏳ Default Expiry setting: Set how long an asset lasts by default (e.g., 5 years). The expiry date is calculated automatically as Installation Date + Default Expiry.
• 🔔 Prompt for Asset Expiries (Yes/No): Choose whether an asset is included in the Expiring Assets workflow.
• 🔄 Replacements get their own expiry: A replacement asset gets a fresh expiry date based on its own installation date, not the old asset’s.
• ⚠️ “Alert when Due” toggle: Date-type asset attributes can now raise alerts using the same logic as expiry dates.

🖥️ Interface updates

• The table header is renamed from “Expiring Soon” to “# of Assets” and now shows the asset count, with expiring assets in 🔴 red.

• 🖊️ Annotated PDFs now get a new version number. Saving an annotation on a PDF in a Job, Quote, or Asset now increases the file’s version number. 🔢
• ⭐ Mobile & Desktop Consistency
• ✳️ Required-field asterisks now match on mobile and desktop. The asterisk used to appear on different fields on each platform, which confused people filling in forms. 😵‍💫➡️😊
• 💰 Payments
• ✅ Pay Later works correctly: If you pay an invoice later, the payment amount is recorded once and isn’t added twice. 🙌
